First I would like to say thanks to Mike and all the folks that put this event on. It was a great event and you guys did everything to make us feel welcome and made sure we were taken care of. I can only see this event getting bigger and you can count on us to be at your next event if you want us there. Next year I'm sure we'll have more members that will have guns that will make a bang!

I want to thank all the guys and gal (always good to see you at our events Lorraine... but next time leave Michael home. Smile ) that came out... I not going to mention everyone, you all know who came out. Thanks to everyone for the help setting up and striking the camp. Seems like it always comes down faster then it goes up.

Thanks to Tim for all his help and being the keeper of the 30 Cal. The kids loved crawling under the camo net to get their picture taken. Souk tell your Dad that he's going to have to get his uniform ready for the next one. Wink

Thanks to Sean for taking time to takes some great pictures of us photo hogs! You VN boys had a great display and its always good to see you guys. Now... post thos pics! Cool

The battles were great but I must admit that the second day was the best! I think our display looked awsome and it gets bigger and better at each event.

Highlights of the event...

Listening to the WWII Vet William "Jim" Barnett telling us storys... awsome!

Second day battle... charging the Germans and seeing Rob throwing something at me... "GRENADE!!" We scatter and go prone. "DUD!" We continue the charge.

First day battle... looking back to signal Matt to move forward so we can charge with the Canadians and seeing that he's dead with Josh... "FUCK!" Turn to see the Canadians charging... "FUCK!" Get up and charge. Getting back to camp and finding out that it was only 2:15 and the Battle started at 2:00. I thought we were out there for about 20 minutes but as it turned out it was maybe 10 minutes.

There are more and I will think of them later.

I will post the few pictures that I have in the next day or so. Michael you know that we made the news in Windsor but Sandy told me that we also made the news here in London as well.

Matt is on the Windsor Star's Web site (Sandy found it) here is the link... good picture.

Thanks again everyone and we will see you at the next one.

I also, would like to thank Mike and all the rest of the people that made this event a HUGE success.

Soo many great memories, including the Vets, the Battle, and many more. I'll relay the messages to my Dad. I think he had a great time as well!

I will be posting the pictures he and I took soon.

Overall, I had an amazing experience, and would do it again in a heart beat!
Thank you as well to Lee for all of your work, and organization, as well as to all the members that went!

As everyone said before me, many thanks to Mike for letting us come and putting up with us.
Awesome place, really look forward to next year!

Thanks to Lee for everything as well, without you I would not have been able to do this.

If you haven't gotten a card from Jim Frith(he took some GREAT pictures, like the one of Crash giving away his Sten to a kid Very Happy ) PM me and I will give you his email to contact him for them.

Looking forward to see more pictures!

Just wanted to say i was very impressed with all the work you guys did with your display. I only got to talk with Lee for a couple of minutes but it was good to actually make it to the Muster and see what all is involved. Sorry i didn't get a chance to get back to chat, I got us lost coming down and we basicly got there and had to turn around to head home as we had other commitments for that evening. A lot of work goes into this event and it is well worth the effort to get down and see it. I did get a chance to talk with some of the museum staff and the were very impressed with all the reenactors and the general turn out as a whole. Well done.

I believe Sean said that he was going to post them here or at least put a link. If he doesn't please go ahead. I don't think he got any of us in the battles.

Hi Guys, First off thanks for the Kudos, but I must also say that your displays were one of the great hits of the show. Your dedication to the craft is to be commended. BZ to all of you. And YES ...I have been asked to put on another one...(I need my head examined) More than 6000 people came out during the 2 days. Not a bad turn out considering all the other events that took place that same weekend, Dragon Boat races, Wambo Car show, Rodeo, Steam Tractor show and Port Dover MotorCycle meet...just to name a few. Very soon there will be a FEEDBACK folder on the MUSTER website...please use it for suggestions.

cheers
