Scenario:

Battle for Hill 54

The Allies are planning to launch an offensive and are using Hill 54 as an OP. Their orders are to hold the Hill so they can help to direct the offensive and to report on the German's movement.

The German Army are aware of the Allies' OP on Hill 54 and have been ordered to take the hill and keep control of it. Keeping control of the Hill will help to keep the Allies blind.

The fighting has been going on for days and both sides have suffered heavy casualties. The initial attacks by the Germans were pushed back by the Allied forces but the allied defences have been hit hard and have began to collapse.

The fighting for Hill 54 is about to become intense. The Germans want it as badly as the Allies want to keep it. Each side knows that the offensive is about to begin and how important Hill 54 is to the success or defeat of the offensive.

Allies

The Allies must hold their position and stop the Germans from taking Hill 54.

Axis

The Germans need to crush the Allies and move them off Hill 54. If the Germans have control of Hill 54 at the end of the day then they win.

I don't know if anyone is counting but Easy Company has 9 out of 10 signed up. Granted 4 are Tentative but 9 out of 10... excellent! Edit: So Russ get your ass signed up and you tents moved to confirmed and lets get a Team picture. And Matt is just an ASS!

Other stats...

Allies: 15 out of 21 signed up will be in period gear

Axis: 2 out of 8 signed up will be in period gear

We need more Axis to sign up from this group! I know it's still early but come on let's get a good turn out.

Just a heads up that I might have to leave early during this game since I have a show to assist with later that night back in Niagara. Not positive on its start time yet though.

Shouldn't be a problem. I will try to get them laminated, so I will need folks to remind everyone to hand them back in at the end of the game.

Should we cap allies soon, or just throw some people to the Germans day of if it is too uneven? It is 2-1 as is.

I'm not going to cap the Allies just yet. I will in a couple of weeks and may ask some players to switch sides if we don't get more Axis to join. Still early and I think the numbers will even out.

It's funny but when this group started out we had much more people sign up for Axis then Allies... not sure when that turned around.
