A great event, again!

Thanks to Fort George for letting us stay the night, thanks to the Lincs for the letting us play. Your friendliness and generosity are really appreciated, you give us glimpses of the history we strive to understand.

Bombing around fields in armoured vehicles wasn't bad either. Wink

All the reenactors out at the weekend looked fantastic, especially the scrumptious nurse in the blue outfit that Jack befriended!

Here's to next year, I think I shall look out a bowler hat and a business suit and practice a few silly walks for the Saturday night.... Laughing

What a great time. Thanks to all who put this event together.
Good to see all the old faces out again, and to meet the new ones.
Ya I have to say that Terry loves to drive that Abbot into the air Laughing Had a blast that night. I'm thinking of a Black Knight impression for next years nightly event Laughing

It was a great weekend! I want to say thanks to everyone that came out... you're a good bunch of people. We had new people out... Ronald and Brian... I hope you guys liked it enough to join us again in the future.

Thanks to the museum folks... as always, they make the weekend enjoyable to the point were it shouldn't be legal! Very Happy Special thanks to Terry and Steph for the frigging fantastic rides on the Abbot and the Half-track!

The VN guys had a great turn out and looked sharp! Their deployment demo was well done. Sean, the coolness factor was very high!!

The only hick-up... was being woken up at 5:20 by some idiot trying to take the officer's tent down while I was sleeping in it. It was a good thing that I decided to sleep in it that night or I think we would be less one officer's tent.

Hey Crash, Rob shot off the 6 pounder twice and neither of his went "poop" (imagine the movement)... he's a real man! Wink

Lorraine's impression looked great... people really got a kick seeing the vintage cameras.

I will post my pictures in the next few days.

Until next time.

There you go again dreaming/imagining about "poop" and "real men" Mr. Green

Proving that you are a real "poof-ster"... and we have the photographic proof there Lee "twinkle toes" Cassar. Maybe you'll wear your WAC outfit next year. Mr. Green

Seriously tho...

Great time and much thanks to the Linc's, especially for allowing me to go back in time with the M113 and Steph for letting us hang out in the "kewl kids" car. The WWII impressions were great as always and it was good to see the VN troop evolve with the demo.

They say that a good laugh is equal to a 100 yrd dash, I felt like I did a couple of marathons by the end of Saturday.

Note: Remember to get all your small arms/ heavy weapon needs from CRASH's Emporium of Fine Fighting Implements Mr. Green

Me thinks that Crash is going to get richer and the rest of us are going to get poorer... Wink

I had a great time coming to visit you guys on Sat. It was realy neet to see all the diff eras of impressions. There was so much in the time i was there, i didnt even get to see all of it.

Did the Weather stay good for you guys on Sunday?

I will be posting up my pics as well. Nothing like seeing you guys in that Half Track! Just made me want to be in there all the more. And hopfuly next year, i will be! haha.

You guys looked great, and so did all the rest of the people there. If you wernt able to be there, boy did you miss out!

*Edit* Oh, did you guys get to shoot off the 6-pounder after the event?! For those that missed it, i have a video of it, hope i can get it up there. But it dosnt do it justice, at all.

The weather was great all weekend. Both Crash and dogfood got to shoot the six pounder.

Josh, thanks again for going back and getting my Medic helmet. The scary part is that you went and got it and no one said anything to you...

HAHA, ya thats true. I though of that as i went to get it. However, i told the guard at the front gate that i was going to grab a helmet because i didnt have my ticket/recpite. So he saw me walking away with it. But there was no one around there to see me taking it, exept for the public, and im not sure what the thought, lol.

I'll grab anything like that, you dont want something like that being stolen!
BUT.. next time.. a m1 helment MIGHT go missing.. i'll need one for my impression... haha.

There you go. I think I will stick with b/w from now on. Yes it is an AT-gun, but not the greatest.
