I'd like to thank everybody who came out and made today a success. The weather was fantastic, and the turn out from the public was great.

Ok quote of the day, a little girl was looking in Brian's ambulance and said "What! why do they have pictures of girls in here! yuck!!" that was too funny.

The highlights of the day for me was being able to drive Brian's Jeep from his house and back again after the day was over, and of course firing off the Haida's main gun at noon.

A woman from Parks Canada came by as we were leaving and told us how great it was to have us all there for the day, and how many of the people having tours commented about the display. Pictures will be up soon.

Cheers

Rob

Rob, thank you for setting up this event. There weren't many of us but we all looked good (even John) and got very positive comments. It was great to meet Brian and get to know him better.... we'll have another friend at the Muster and hopefully he will join us at more events.

Thanks to Parks Canada for having us and making sure that we had enough to drink and eat.

It was great to have a tour of HMCS Haida... it really gave me an idea of what my Dad's life on a ship must of been like... seeing the display of Player Cigs brought back memorries of my Dad... you never saw him without a pack until one day he just said "nope... not gonna smoke any more!" He threw the remainder of his pack in the garbage and never touched another smoke for the rest of his life.

Thanks to Crash for the donation to the web site and the period ammo!
