Great time as usual. Feeling the 30 thudding at my chest every time it was fired was great. Where are the videos? We want to make sure everyone who could not attend (human and oompa loompa alike) knows what they missed.

Sorry for the late post but I was off line all weekend.

I want to thank everyone for coming out... you guys always look great and it is much appreciated. Except for the brief storm (30min. tops) it was a perfect day.

It was great to finally get to shoot the .30 cal. I didn't get to shoot any of the other Marstar toys but I know a lot of you did just by the huge smiles on your faces.

Sorry that we didn't get to shoot off my real steel... that was very disappointing! But like I said most of you got to shoot diffent firearms from Marstar and it didn't cost a penny so that's always a bonus.

I took a camera but I didn't take any pictures so the people that did please get them posted. Especially the vids.

Last Spartan... make sure you make it down next year... hell you could always grab a ride with the Marstar Folks.

Oh... I know that at least one of you made it in the Aylmer newspaper because I got an email asking for Rob's last name... you're a star Rob!

I just wanted to say a big thanks to Clint for inviting us out to this. All of the work is was to set up and run this is a daunting task, but it was well worth it for me and others!

Also a big thanks to Marstar for letting us shoot and hold some unique weapons. Lee was right, I know a couple of us guys had some BIG smiles after... Including me!
Unfortunately, I didn't get some pics of us shotting the AUG on my Nikon camera. I was a little to giddy to go and try it. Sorry guys.

I had a great time getting to know you guys better, and having fun standing around and talking. It was great to meet you Trevor, and look forward to seeing you on the field!

I'm uploading the pictures now, and I'll try and get videos up. If you guys want any of the pictures full size, send me a PM and I'll Email them to you.

Finally, I'd like to say thanks to Lee, and all the guys that showed up to make this event unforgettable. And to those that weren't able to make it, hopefully next year you will. I know you WON'T regret it! Very Happy

Oh, Sam, Sam, Sam. You really missed out.
I did go prone, there is a video coming. I had to, just to get the experience.

It should also be noted that the .30Cal wasn't shooting the 30.06 Springfield ammo, but some Russian 7mm or something. Marstar said that they re chambered it to this round because The 30.06 is like $1.50 a round. (Lee can attest to that!) Marstar also mentioned they had brought 3000 rnds to the event. So I'm assuming they got it relatively cheep, because we didn't have to pay.. Very Happy

Videos are being uploaded as we speak.

Not one person prone behind the 1919. For shame.
